“The only thing that is constant is change.” – Heraclitus

Especially with technological advancements, the world is constantly changing. Knowledge is more obtainable now than ever before. All you need is a computer and an Internet connection and you can learn just about anything you want, and in the workplace today, people who do not take advantage of this become obsolete as their skills and abilities start to diminish in relevancy.

In your personal life, continuous learning is about the perpetual expansion of your skill set and building upon existing knowledge. As life changes, so does the need to adapt personally and be persistent in opening doors to potential future opportunities.

Professionally, continuous learning is about expanding your skills to keep up with quickly emerging developments. Continuous learning helps us avoid stagnation keeping us fresh and knowledge current. It ensures you keep moving forward toward reaching your full potential.

But as learning professionals, we are well versed in understanding the “why” behind continuous learning. The BIG question is “how.”

  • How do I make time?
  • How do I start?
  • How do I make it a habit?
  • How do I capture and curate notes?

The list of “How” is long and, perhaps, intimidating.

So on February 3rd, let’s gather and discuss our best ideas for answering the “How” question. To keep us all on track in 2023 to make continuous learning a priority, and model the change we want to see.
