What if you could make those tired old Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) documents come alive?

This Learn Something New session is very special!  We will be joined by Margie Meacham, one of the first instructional design experts to apply neuroscience to instructional design and owner of Learning to Go, or as the rest of L&D world refers to her “The Brain Lady.”

While many others are starting to talk about AI in training and education, Margie has been pioneering practical applications, evangelizing best practices, and building award-winning bots for her clients since 2014.

In this session, you’ll learn how intelligent automation can help you leverage content you already have buried in the pages of training manuals, procedures, job aids, and other legacy documents. You’ll explore how your existing content can have a new life as an intelligent agent, engaging the learner and making learning stick in a fresh new way.

Margie envisions educational chatbots as “a conversational program that will use a simple form of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to engage in realistic, engaging, two-way conversations with learners, stakeholders, and clients. You can design a chatbot to answer questions, evaluate performance, challenge assumptions or provide helpful tips.”

It may seem that you need a degree in computer science to make this happen in your organization. But think again!

Come play in the sandbox with us!

In this sandbox, you will be building actual chatbots for your FAQs and other training content. Giving you a bird’s eye view of how easily this type of technology can be applied to your organization. Signing up before Noon, Tuesday April 25th, allows us to add your information to give you access.

Okay – so what if you can’t be there in person? You will still get a sandbox sign-in that will allow you to play alongside the recording. Plus, any additional hand-outs.

What if you registered after Noon? That’s okay. You’ll just receive your sandbox information after the session. YOU will be able to use it when you replay the recording.

What you can expect

We’ll peek under the hood to see what goes into planning, designing, and building a custom chatbot solution from existing content and share some planning templates to help you build a chatbot. Finally, you’ll look at options for deploying an intelligent agent in your organization, on platforms you probably already own. You’ll leave this session with a fresh approach to learning and performance support that can elevate existing programs, increase employee engagement, and enhance employee performance.

In this session, you will discover:

      • How learner expectations have changed and why FAQ documents don’t work
      • How intelligent automation delivers a custom experience to each user
      • How teams like yours have converted tired content into an engaging, personalized experience
      • Which common business and educational platforms support intelligent automation bots
      • How to plan and design an FAQ chatbot
      • Where to go for more information, tools, and support to get started

Together let’s discover how to bring FAQ’s to live, make them useful again, and place them in the hands of the people who need them the most!

Can’t make it in person? Not to worry, we’ve got your back!

Simply by registering to attend this Learn Something New session, you will receive:
