Coffee Chat: Building business partnerships

Let’s address the elephant in the room – in the business world today, Learning and Development (L&D) teams can’t just focus on creating cool learning programs. Our role within the workplace today goes way beyond that. Our role requires a skill that is not so familiar to many L&D professionals and maybe a bit uncomfortable. Being business partners.

Read the blog this chat is based on, here.

Building business partnerships isn’t just a nice-to-have skill – it’s a must-have skill.

Being able to show how L&D can be business partners and directly help the business is how L&D teams win the day. It’s how they discover the elusive “Seat at the table.” Smart L&D teams know how to use their resources wisely and make a difference in the company’s success.

Let’s meet on May 19th to discuss how we can build better business partnerships.

  • How can we better communicate L&D goals and strategy?
  • How can we connect more strongly with stakeholders from all areas of the business?
  • How can use data to tell the stories we need telling?
  • What experiences and learning lessons can you share with the group?

Building business partnerships can be a tough nut to crack. Sometimes we want to be better partners, but no one is answering the door. How can build bridges that connect learning to business?

I hope you join us to discover the secret sauce. Note: This is an “off-week” chat. Our schedule picks up as normal on May 26th.
